الملخص    This study aimed at designing an electronic book for the subject of biology for the students of first class at the secondary school in format of an interactive. Electronic manual (CDs) in order to have an effect on students’ performance in South Darfur state. So as to realize the study''s objectives, the researcher used descriptive analytical method, to describe and analyze data related to the study and the empirical approach and to identify the impact of the electronic book on the students as well as comparing it with traditional manual. The researcher has got benefit from previous studies , he depend up on a number of references and sources that contributed in achieving this study, the researcher used the following tools to realize the study''s objectives: 1) the electronic book  designed electronically and pedagogically. 2) A questionnaire made of 5 axes and 64 articles. 3) The prior and subsequent tests. The study tools were examined by a jury to make sure of its authenticity as well as testing it to confirm its consistency to reach certain results. The test was applied on sample selected from the study community comprising (100) male and female, equally divided into two groups (empirical group and controlling group), the researcher utilized various statistical method for data analysis and processing using (SPSS). The study has come up with a number of results: 1) the electronic manual used in teaching biology of first class at secondary school realizes the objectives of the paper book and lead to raising students’ performance to excellent. 2) The content of the biology paper book for students of first year at secondary school level can be designed electronically valid for learning.
