الملخص    This study aimed at examining the job stress level of the secondary schools level teachers at Ajloun governorate, and the level of their assessment of the social support given to them from their own point of view, and its relationship to variables of sex and experience. The study sample consisted of (264) male and female teachers who work in the governmental schools in Ajloun governorate for the academic year 2015/2016. They were chosen following the random stratified random sample method. To achieve the study objectives the researcher developed two research tools which are: job stress measurement, formed of (35) paragraphs, distributed to five domains, and a measurement of social support formed of (25) paragraphs distributed to five dimensions. The results showed that the level of job stress in the sample study was high, and their assessment of the level of social support was high. The study also showed that there are no differences between the mean of the degrees of the study sample on the measurements of job stress and social support attributed to variables of sex and experience, and that there is a negative binding relationship between the level of job stress and social support.
